A compact first look at Kashmir. You start in Srinagar with the Mughal Gardens and a shikara ride on Dal Lake, spend a full day at Sonamarg, then move to Gulmarg for a night in the mountains and a ride on the gondola.
It suits travellers with limited leave who still want to see the valley's lakes, glaciers and meadows. Hotels, transfers and sightseeing are arranged by our team in Gulmarg.

Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
Our driver meets you at Srinagar airport and takes you to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, then take a shikara ride on Dal Lake as the light fades. Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 2: Sonamarg Day Trip
A full-day excursion along the Sindh river to Sonamarg. Walk or hire a pony (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier, where snow often lingers into early summer. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg
Drive to Gulmarg, about two hours away. Ride the Gulmarg Gondola to Kongdoori, and on to Apharwat when weather and operations allow (tickets not included unless booked with us). Spend the evening in the meadow town. Overnight in Gulmarg.

Day 4: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar airport for your onward journey.
